Children who are attending grades 6 - 10 are invited to join an eight week book discussion group that will culminate in the solving of a mystery. Each child must either volunteer 5 hours during the summer or pay $5.00 to join. Jr. Book Club is not meeting at this time. |

The Jr. Friends hold plays, have car washes, and help out our staff by shelving books, cutting out crafts, etc. Kids interested in joining need to contact Mz. Renee. The Jr. Friends are now actively supporting their library with various projects again. |

Performance Acting Library Students Another good opportunity for kids in grades 1st through 12th. The P.A.L.S. are a performance troop that put on plays and puppet shows for Long Beach Library events. P.A.L.S. are not meeting at this time. |

Our fax machine is available for public use. Local faxes cost $1.00 per page, and out-of-state faxes cost $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for every page after. |

Twelve computers for our adult patrons and seven computers for our kids are available to access the Internet free of charge. All computers have Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Printer accessibility also available at .20 per page. Computer availability is limited to 30 minutes per person if others are waiting. |
Tax assistance through VITA as well as tax forms are currently not available at Long Beach Library. For more information contact us at 863-0711 about which libraries in this area are assisting individuals. |
